The actual description states that it is a mini neck massager, and it is true, but gals have found other uses for it down south that gives you more relaxing benefits.
There is just so much hype with all the pocket rockets out there, but the Pocket Rocket Plus gives you a reason to wake in the morning. People often get lost up in the hype of modern technology, but Pocket Rocket Plus by Doc Johnson is still a classic and an oldie but goodie in a lot of ladies books.
The Pros:
The Pocket Rocket Plus has a great small size which makes it portable and nice. You are able to just toss it into your purse, suitcase, and more. You can even keep it in your nightstand for easy and quick access.
Since it is technically a “neck massager” and not a vibrator, there is that element of discreetness to it, if that is what you are looking for.
Although the Pocket Rocket Plus isn’t an expensive vibrator, it really depends on where you plan to shop. Many will sell the Pocket Rocket plus for $10 while others may charge on the upwards of $25. There are plenty of knockoffs out there and they don’t last as long as the originals. The part that seems to break the most happens to be the twist off and on feature. You have to twist the center of the vibrator to turn it on. Other knockoffs parts will break quicker and that is the first thing to go. Although, it has not happened with the Original Pocket Rocket Plus. It feels like it is made of plastic, but it is thicker and sturdier than all of the other brands. So, this one should last you quite a while.
It only takes 1 “AA” battery, and so that means that it isn’t that expensive to power either. It has been within my experience that an Energizer or Duracell battery will last the longest for your Pocket Rocket Plus, not to mention having a rechargeable battery will always work best. The batteries will last you a long time especially if it isn’t stored within your Pocket Rocket Plus.
The best part is that you should not let that small size fool you. The Pocket Rocket Plus does pack a pretty big punch for being a clitoral stimulator. It won’t bring you to orgasm as fast as Hitachi Magic Wand, but it is great play toy for both you and him on those hot and steamy nights. The vibration is perfect, it isn’t too hard which can make the feeling too intense, but it isn’t too weak either which make take you forever to reach that awesome climax that you are looking for.
It is perfect for a first time vibrator that you can use with your partner. It does not look like a sexual toy, so it has that non-threatening aspect to it. The small size allows you to hold it to your clit during sex without hampering any of your activities.
The Cons:
Even though most women do not mind the sound of a vibrator, there are plenty out there that want the silent vibrator. The Pocket Rocket Plus is not silent at all. The sound can be covered up using a radio or TV at regular levels, but it just is not silent. It sounds almost similar to an electric toothbrush, so if you are okay with that sound, then you will be okay with the Pocket Rocket Plus.
If you enjoy selecting the perfect vibration, there isn’t too much of a choice when it comes to the Pocket Rocket Plus. All that you have is an off and on and that is it. It really can’t be personalized when it comes to the vibration settings.
The little plastic nubby cap that comes with it is not that great. The cap is made of a hard plastic and the nubs don’t feel that great on your sensitive areas. It tends to work better with the cap off. Although the Pocket Rocket Plus has a version that will allow you to have a jelly sleeve that is a great addition, but that would be a whole other review in that case.
Unfortunately, it is not a multipurpose vibe, so this Pocket Rocket is to be just used for external parts. It isn’t one that you are going to be able to penetrate yourself with.
The price
It’s just really great value. It’s great value for the experienced as well as the beginner. Check the price.
Cleaning Factors
Since the Pocket Rocket Plus is a battery operated vibrator, it is not waterproof. So you just can’t run it under the faucet. You should use a warm, soapy cloth to clean it and then wipe it clean with a moist wet cloth. If you have toy cleaner, it is best to use that as it will clean and disinfect your toy.
Overall
The Pocket Rocket Plus is a great vibrator for beginners or experienced vibe users. There have been many different vibrators over the years and even since there have been technological breakthroughs and advancements, the Pocket Rocket Plus is still a go to massager. If you are looking for quick climax, then this one isn’t for you, but if you are wanting something that is small and discreet as well as something that you can travel with then you need to get the Pocket Rocket Plus.
Don’t misunderstand discreet to mean quiet. This toy is not quiet at all and it sounds like an electric toothbrush, so if that doesn’t bother you then the Pocket Rocket Plus is for you. Even though it is meant to be used on your external areas only, there are other options that you can find that will work for you. Being around $20, it is a great vibrator that should be recommended for anyone. Check out our home page to see how it compares to other vibrators.
