The Don Wand Bent Graduate is the first time I’ve tried a glass sex toy. I’m a fan of vibrators rather than dildos, and all the dildos I have used have been of the realistic variety. The idea of a glass sex toy was something that never got me going, so I went into this review with a little skepticism…

This dildo is shaped to be used as a g-spot dildo, although with it’s ribbed handle it can also be used as an anal toy.

The Bent Graduate comes in a clear plastic package containing the dildo, a sample of lubricant, care instructions and a storage pouch. The storage pouch is made of pink faux-velvet with a padded lining to protect your toy from bumps and scratches.

This glass dildo is made from solid Pyrex, which is smooth and non-porous. One of the great things about Pyrex over regular glass is that it can withstand greater amounts of heat, meaning that you can heat it up or cool it down without the worry of it breaking. It’s also safer as rather than cracking and splintering like regular glass is just breaks. Pyrex glass is a very rigid material so care should be taken when inserting and/or thrusting this sex toy.

The design is very simple, which is actually what makes this toy so great. It’s about 7 inches long and curved for easy g-spot stimulation. The curve is almost a full 90 degrees making it easy to apply the necessary amount of pressure on your g-spot during play. Each end is about 3 inches long and 4 inches around. It should be noted that, as with all glass toys, you need to inspect it before and after use for any possible cracks or chips as these can be dangerous if gone unnoticed.

The Bent Graduate from Don Wand is very simple to use. I applied the included sample of WET lubricant and inserted the head, finding my g-spot and applying the perfect amount of pressure was simple and it’s length meant that the first bulge on the handle was nestled perfectly against my clit, providing double the stimulation I was expecting from this! Because of it’s rigidity I took it easy when thrusting, but managed to get the perfect rhythm going without too much effort. After orgasming very easily with this end I turned it around and gave the handle a go, this didn’t provide any kind of g-spot or clitoral stimulation but the ridges made for a nice sensation during insertion.

I tried the toy anally inserting the handle and the bulges feel wonderful. They could have been larger to provide more stimulation, however as this isn’t primarily designed as an anal sex toy I won’t hold that against it.

It’s size and ease of use would make the Don Wand Bent Graduate a perfect glass sex toy for a beginner, it was in fact my first glass sex toy and I was thoroughly impressed with it and shall be eagerly awaiting the next one that I get to review!

After a few uses they do seem to have stretched a little, although there’s no distortion in the shape of them, it just means that I now need to use the next hole along when buckling them up.

The Spartacus cuffs can be cleaned using a mild soap and water on a damp cloth, then patted dry using a dry towel. After cleaning they should be left out to air dry before being packed away. They should never be submerged in water or the leather can get damaged and rot.

When storing them it’s advisable to not have anything resting on top of them as if they get twisted the leather will hold this shape. I store mine rolled out flat which has so far helped them to keep their shape.

It was very simple to operate. I just plugged it all in following the instructions, pressed play on my iPod, and the vibrator started to vibrate along with the beat of the music.

Now I’m not ashamed to admit that most of the music on my iPod is of the easy listening type and when I first tried the OhMiBod I wasn’t too impressed with the power of the vibrations so I went online to see what other people were saying about it. I found out that apparently it works best with a good selection of dance music and proceeded to download one of the suggested playlists that came with it then tried it again. Much better. While it’s not as intense as some rabbit vibrators I’ve used, it is comparable to that of most other clitoral vibrators.

Does This Technology Add Anything To The Experience?

I’ve been a fan of the Evolved Novelties ‘Roulette’ line of sex toys for a while now so you can imagine how excited I was when I found out about their latest addition – the Croupier g-spot vibrator.
Like all of the other sex toys in the ‘Roulette’ range the Croupier is a very high quality sex toy whose body is made of super-safe European silicone which is phthalate free, latex free, non-porous and hypo-allergenic.

I’ve said it before, I absolutely love pink sex toys, and the hot pink color of this vibrator is absolutely beautiful!

The design and shape is surprisingly simple, being streamlined with a ridge that curves around and runs along the entire length. The tip is curved to allow for easy g-spot stimulation and has a slight flexibility to it which makes it very comfortable to insert and allows for almost effortless thrusting.

The Croupier is not a small toy. It’s just over 8″ long (5″ insertable) which should be more than enough to achieve g-spot stimulation for most women. It’s reasonably thick as well, with a circumference of 5″ which might be slightly intimidating for the more inexperienced but makes it very comfortable to hold on to.

The dial that controls the vibration speed is quite unique, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever used a sex toy with controls like it before. All it requires to adjust the speed is to roll the dial up or down which gradually increases or decreases the intensity of the vibrations.

The vibrations are strongest at the tip of the toy but they do travel down the whole of the shaft. The lowest setting is pretty mild but with the unique dial you can gradually increase the speed and the vibrations become stronger and faster. On the lowest setting it’s very quiet but as you turn it up the noise does increase and is pretty loud on the highest setting so this is not a discreet vibrator.

The highest setting is enough to hit your g-spot with no problems but one good thing about this toy is that it can be used for thrusting or clitoral stimulation too. The ridges along the shaft adding to the sensation as it slides in and out.

The Croupier takes 2 x AA batteries which can be inserted by simply twisting off the base of the toy. This battery compartment is sealed with a silicone ring making the toy 100% waterproof. I tried this toy in the tub and I can confirm that, unlike some cheaper vibrators that claim to be waterproof, this one actually is.

As I said earlier, it’s made of silicone. Because of this there’s a slight drag which means this toy requires the use of lubrication. Water based lube is recommended but oil based should work fine too if that’s your preference. NEVER use a silicone lubricant with it!

Because of the design of the toy I wouldn’t recommend putting it in your dishwasher to clean it. Instead, it would be better to clean with a sterilizing sex toy cleaning spray or hot water and soap.

I really like the packaging of this sex toy which makes it easy to store away in a drawer or cupboard and be able to see through the case to what’s inside without having to go rumaging through all of your toys looking for it.

My personal experience with this toy was very satisfying. The material is comfortable, the design is stimulating and the vibrations strong enough to achieve a g-spot orgasm with minimal effort.

With vibrators I usually like to start off slow and work my way up. The vibration control dial on the Croupier is perfect for this.

I Rub My Duckie Pirate is a discreet waterproof vibrator based on the wildly successful I Rub My Duckie. It’s a truly discreet vibrator designed for clitoral stimulation or massage. The addition of a pirate outfit adds a few extra sensations to the regular Duckie and makes this a much more versatile sex toy.

It’s made of TPR, which is a hypo-allergenic material that is phthalates and latex free. The texture of the material is smooth, but due to it’s shape there’s a lot of bumps and pointy bits to provide some variation in stimulation possibilities.

The I Rub My Duckie Pirate is one of the more discreet vibrators. I hear it often said about various toys that they’re ’so discreet you could leave them lying around and nobody would know what they are’ and most of the time that’s simply not true. With the Duckie, however, that really is true. You could easily leave it sitting on the side of your tub and I very much doubt anybody would have a clue as to it’s intended purpose.

It’s about the same size as a regular rubber duckie, which is an appropriate size for clitoral stimulation. However, it’s lack of surface texture can make it difficult to achieve the desired level of stimulation and while the variations in it’s shape can provide some interesting alternative to the traditional bullet type vibrators it can also be frustrating trying to find the position that’s ‘just right’.

The single AAA battery to power it is inserted in the base of the toy which can be opened using a coin to twist the cover off.

Turning the Pirate Duckie on is done by a small dial on the bottom and once it’s on that’s the only vibration setting there is. Unfortunately most of the vibrations are concentrated in the bottom of it, but they do travel reasonably well to the rest of the toy.

It’s 100% waterproof, but, like most waterproof vibrators, it can become louder when submerged under water. Although it’s still quiet enough that it can’t be heard from outside of the bathroom.

TPR was a good choice of material for this sex toy as it can be cleaned with soap and warm water, which you’ll most likely have with you after using it in the bath! It’s porous surface will mean that you want to do a good job of it though.

TPR can be used with either silicone or water-based lubricants, which is good, because if using it in the bath water-based lubes can often wash away pretty quickly.

If you don’t want to leave it in your bathroom then it comes with a cool storage box that looks like a pirate’s treasure chest with a red satin lining.

The box it comes in is made of cardboard and has a pirate flag on it with a slight difference – It’s a duck’s skull. Inside the outer box is the ‘treasure chest’ storage box containing the Pirate Duckie and instructions for use.

My personal opinion of the I Rub My Duckie Pirate is that it is much better looking than it is functional. That’s not to say that it’s a bad toy, far from it, but it can take a bit of effort to get used to and get the necessary stimulation from it. In the mean time it will discreetly sit on the side of your tub going un-noticed.

The Crystal Chic Pleasure Wand is one of those toys that once you’ve used it you’ll wonder how you ever managed to do without it.

I love toys that provide some really intense vibrations and the Chic Wand didn’t let me down. The high price tag of the new We-Vibe 2 could be initially off-putting for some couples, but look at the specs and you can see your money’s well spent – Being silicone, hands-free, rechargeable, dual speed and silent makes this one of the most attractive couples sex toys I’ve seen to date.

Easy To Use

When I first got it out of the discreet packaging I was surprised at how small it was, not to mention a little confused at how it was supposed to be used. But after reading the instructions and watching the online video it all became clear and it’s very simple to operate.

When it arrived my partner was at work, but eager to try it out I decided to try it on my own. I was disappointed as it didn’t seem particularly powerful so waited anxiously for my partner to return home so we could try it out together, hoping it would perform better – and it did!

The Sqweel Oral Sex Simulator is merger of 2 of the greatest inventions of all time – The wheel and SEX! Although, rather than moving a vehicle along like a typical wheel this one spins 10 tongues at 3 different speeds.
This is a pretty new invention in the sex toy realm, mostly for clitoral stimulation we’re limited to clitoral vibrators, but this is something completely different and actually simulates oral sex.  Men have had the benefit of oral sex simulators like the Super Head Honcho for a while so it’s about time we got in on the action.

The Lowdown

Housed in a black compartment made of soft plastic are the tongues which are made of silicone and can be easily removed for cleaning of both the tongues and the housing. It takes AAA batteries which is a bit of an annoyance as all I had laying around the house and in other toys was AA batteries, but no biggie, a quick trip to the store sorted that out.

It costs around $65 which, compared to other clitoral vibrators, could be seen as slightly expensive. But as I said before, this isn’t quite like other toys you may have used.

I really like the fact that this can be used either on your own or with a partner and it can give them a much needed break so no more lockjaw!

How Does It Perform?

Surprisingly well, would be the answer to that question. At first glance the idea of this sex toy seems a bit ‘gimmicky’, but once you get to use it you realize it really does perform to the level it’s manufacturers claim it does.

At first it’s a little difficult to find the right position to hold it in. I’m sure it will be different for most everybody, but I found holding it straight up with the tongues facing upwards was the most satisfying position. Trying to move it around whilst the tongues were moving got uncomfortable at times because of the edges, but after finding the perfect position it was just a matter of enjoying it.

It’s nice to start off with it on the low setting then gradually move up to the medium and high settings to increase the intensity as you come closer to orgasm. Turning the tongues upside down was also quite stimulating and a rather ‘different’ experience.

You need to be careful of how you hold it whilst the tongues are rotating as I got my fingers in the way a couple of times. It wasn’t painful, but it was annoying having the toy stop when you’re just getting into it. Particularly long pubic hair might also be an issue. What’s Next?

Well, according to Love Honey, the makers of the Sqweel, they have some stuff in the works. Most importantly new attachments, so you can switch it up between tongues and whatever other fancy ideas they can come up with. I quite like the idea of textured tongues in addition to the smooth ones. Or maybe alternating so one smooth tongue, followed by a textured one, now that would be nice.

Until then the Sqweel, with it’s 10 rotating tongues, should be more than enough to keep any girl satisified…
